Hey Friends,
I’m excited to partner with WallPlanks for a really fun project we are doing in our master bedroom. We have used a shiplap a few times on different projects, but this is so much easier! We wanted to add a shiplap accent wall behind our bed, and I am so glad we found this great product!
This project only took one day for us to complete! No painting, no nail guns or aircompressors humming in the background. Almost no set up or mess.
Who doesn’t like projects like this!
These before pictures of our bedroom are clean and nice… but we wanted to add a subtle touch behind our bed to give texture and added visual interest in this space. I recently repainted our bed frame with chalk paint/wax and loved the way it turned out. But to make the space perfect, I wanted to match the bed with a clean white shiplap behind.
1. When unpacking product from the boxes inspect for any damage/defects. 2. Prep the wall first with cleaning. Here is a great cleaner to use. https://rstyle.me/+M7ppMyQl72zJo0rvAn5_Xw 3. Check for straight lines with a level.

I kept this wall simple and only added one piece of framed wall art. I love the wall all by itself and it doesn’t need a lot, since it is already a statement piece.
